I added the channel topic at the top of each channel tab, but then realised this was wasting valuable screen space and most people would probably not want the topic visible all of the time. I've therefore added the option to show/hide it via a context menu:

Here you can see that I've added the ability to select users in the chan list and then pop up a menu of actions to perform on them.

You can also pop up a similar menu to part a channel or close a private message tab.

In the following screenshot you can see that the protocol handler is a bit more developed, and I've also added owner-draw tabs so that an active tab will be highlighted in red (or blue if your name is mentioned).

You can also see that I've added a pop-out user list - the userlist is activated by holding the stylus on the main chat window which pops up a menu with the option to show/hide the userlist. The userlist itself is an owner-drawn listbox control with icons for chanops.

The main window now supports resizing and can therefore be used in both portrait and landscape mode. It is possible to have a two-way conversation using the client, as well as join multiple channels across multiple servers:

This is an early version of PocIRC - you can see that the basic user interface elements are there - tabs, RichInk control for pretty formatted text etc. The basic IRC protocol handler is also in place, as evidenced by the server connection you can see.
